We’re an artisan bakery known for producing high-quality, hand-crafted breads and pastries — and we’re on the hunt for a skilled **Baker** to join our team.

**About the Role**
This role will see you working with a variety of doughs and techniques, including:

- Mixing sourdough, milk dough, dark rye sourdough, baguette doughs, and croissant dough.
- Shaping baguettes, sourdough loaves, and milk dough products to our high standards.
- Baking a wide range of breads and pastries to perfection.
- Operating and understanding **retarder proofers** to manage production schedules.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of all machinery, ovens, and your work area.

You’ll need to work independently, manage your own bench, and keep up with the pace of a busy bakery.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Minimum **1 year’s experience** in a commercial bakery environment.
- Strong understanding of artisan baking processes and dough handling.
- Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work **weekends** and evenings.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and a genuine passion for baking.

**Hours & Employment**
- Approximately **32 hours per week**, with the potential to increase for the right person.
- We welcome **Working Holiday Makers**, but you must be able to commit to **at least 6 months**.
