About the Role

Bondi Boulangerie is looking for a hands-on, motivated Junior Baker / Kitchen Hand to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone with a basic baking background who's keen to develop their skills in a busy artisan bakery environment. You'll help manage the first bake of the day, working with both bread and pastries, and assist with a variety of sweet and savoury products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the first bake of the day – including bread, croissants, and pastries.
  • Bake and prepare a range of savoury and sweet products (e.g. almond croissants, quiches, sausage rolls).
  • Assist with dough handling, shaping, and preparation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the production area.
  • Clean ovens, trays, floors, and benches after shifts.
  • Monitor stock levels of key ingredients and products; flag any shortages early.
  • Support the team with general prep and packaging tasks as required.

About You

  • Early riser who's reliable, punctual, and motivated.
  • Some bakery or kitchen experience preferred (training provided).
  • Works efficiently and follows instructions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understands the importance of quality, consistency, and hygiene.
  • Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.

Hours & Pay

  • Shifts from Tuesday to Sunday, starting at 5:00 a.m.
  • Casual or part-time hours available

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $33.00 – $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
