**The Role**:
We are currently looking for casual, in-person only, Maths & English tutors available on at our Balwyn venue (may have opportunities to expand hours and venues later on). This job is suitable for current university students, but Year 11-12 students may be considered based on merits though pay is age dependent.
- Have an interest and willingness to engage with students and adapt to their needs.
- Be able to handle around 4 students at one time including marking, feedback and explaining work.
- Is consistently reliable and responsible for their work.
- Ability to engage students in Years 1 - 5 with the curriculum.
- Excellent academic history both in high school and university.
- 1st Year university student in 2025/2026
- Prior experience with education and private or group tutoring.
- Prior successful experience in taking or teaching for scholarship & selective entry tests.
- Strong preference for trainee teachers and teaching degrees.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
