- Rem circa: $95,000 to $100K package

**About the Company**
You will be working for a Community-focused, not-for-profit organisation, with multi-site support.

**About the Role**
This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the WHS Manager, it will see you participating in both office and field-based support, engaging with the operations team to provide Health and Safety support across multiple service sites, ensuring safer workplaces, with a strong focus on public safety across all areas of its operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Actively drive consistent OHS standards and procedures
- Communicate WHS information, coach and consult with others
- Ensure employees and contractors are trained in risk management and standard work method statements
- Proactively assist managers to implement the companies safety management system, negotiate and influence outcomes
- Conduct site inspections, audits, hazard identification and implement controls with the operations team
- Assist with near miss and incident investigations
- Provide guidance on risk assessments, safety in design and contractor management
- Report on positive performance indicators

**_To be great you will require:_**
- Relevant Tertiary WHS qualification, min Cert IV OHS
- Strong relationship management with internal/external stakeholders
- 3+ yrs experience working in OHS roles
- Ability to respond quickly, use initiative and seek out solutions
- Strong Knowledge of Vic OHS legislation
- Rqd: Police check. Working with Children check. Current Driver's licence
