**The Opportunity**

Our client is a well regarded and progressive institution with a national presence. They have a reputation for excellence and commitment in their industry. They are seeking a committed and diligent Payroll Officer to work in the team. Based in the Brisbane CBD this will be an office based role.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Finacial Controller, you will be responsible for:

- Processing end to end pay for around 400-500 employees using a large ERP system - fortnightly and monthly payruns.
- Manage salary sacrifice deductions, superannuation single touch payroll and workers compensation payments
- Payroll reporting and reconciliation
- Must have a solid understanding of payroll.
- Solid understanding of awards, IR and Tax
- Answer any queries regarding payroll

**Skills and Experience**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
- An enthusiastic and positive can-do attitude
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Ideally have used a large ERP system
