Our Safety team collaboratively lead a step-change in safety engagement and management for our projects by providing oversight of all health and safety aspects on activities undertaken by project staff and contractors (construction partners) during all phases of the project life cycles, whilst promoting a safe work culture across MPRV.

Working at Major Road Projects Victoria means being part of something big.

We oversee more than 30 projects as a cornerstone of Victoria's Big Build, including some of the State's most important roads. These projects will reduce congestion and travel times, improve safety, connect communities and improve the roads you rely on every day.

Our **Safety team** collaboratively lead a step-change in safety engagement and management for our projects by providing oversight of all health and safety aspects on activities undertaken by project staff and contractors (construction partners) during all phases of the project life cycles, whilst promoting a safe work culture across MPRV.

**Join us in building better connections for Victoria by**:

- Assisting Safety and Project team members to facilitate risk assessment workshops and maintain risk registers
- Collaborating with contractors on key project safety initiatives, undertaking regular safety monitoring activities to verify safety compliance and conducting due diligence review as required
- Delivering safety related training, workshops, assessments and inductions for leaders and project team members - in addition to transferring project safety knowledge and learnings to others
- Preparing technical briefing documents for meetings or reporting purposes
- Developing and implementing safety initiatives that benefit MRPV and our overall program

In addition to some experience coordinating safety requirements in an organisation we are looking for you to be able to demonstrate experience in influencing and collaborating to achieve safety outcomes. **This role suits either a safety professional within the first few years of their career, or perhaps someone passionate about Safety with prior experience in other areas of Construction.**

This is a 3-year fixed term position. The location of your key projects will be in the SE of Melbourne.
