**The Role**
As APS 6 Intelligence Mission Data Governance Officer, your responsibilities are to:

- Collate and prioritise Intelligence Mission Data requirements from a variety of stakeholders across the Defence portfolio.
- Lead a team to manage projects and day-to-day functions effectively.
- Lead the secretariat for working and steering groups.
- Engage stakeholders across the Defence portfolio and manage their expectations.
- Lead the development of policies and processes.
- Represent the Australian Intelligence Mission Data enterprise at domestic and international engagements.

**About our Team**
The Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) Governance team undertakes a crucial role in ensuring that production and use of IMD across the Defence portfolio is prioritised, managed effectively, and aligns with strategic national security priorities.

The team has a variety of in-flight projects and business-as-usual functions, stretching across policy development, secretariat for senior and working-level forums, domestic and international stakeholder engagement, standards and risk management frameworks, and software development.

We are looking for someone who:

- Is organised, can work with autonomy, and can be trusted to effectively progress tasks through to completion.
- Understands the strategic priorities of the agency and links them to their day-to-day tasks.
- Leverages exemplary written and verbal communication skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders, represent the team at forums and working groups, and develop policy.
- Is confident in managing the expectations of stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.
