**The Role**
As APS 5 Intelligence Mission Data Governance Officer, your responsibilities are to:

- Assist in the collation and prioritisation of Intelligence Mission Data requirements from a variety of stakeholders across the Defence portfolio.
- Make a valuable contribution, as part of a team, to projects and day-to-day administrative functions.
- Perform the secretariat function for working and steering groups.
- Engage, and maintain working relationships with, stakeholders across the Defence portfolio.
- Take part in the development of policies and processes.

**About our Team**
The Intelligence Mission Data (IMD) Governance team undertakes a crucial role in ensuring that production and use of IMD across the Defence portfolio is prioritised, managed effectively, and aligns with strategic national security priorities.

The team has a variety of in-flight projects and business-as-usual functions, stretching across policy development, secretariat for senior and working-level forums, domestic and international stakeholder engagement, standards and risk management frameworks, and software development.

We are looking for someone who:

- Is organised, prioritises their own work, can be trusted to effectively progress tasks through to completion, and proactively asks questions to confirm the parameters of tasks.
- Is broadly aware of the strategic priorities of the agency and links them to their day-to-day tasks.
- Has high quality written and verbal communication skills.
- Can comfortably engage with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.
