Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a highly motivated and suitably experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at our general medical practice at Kangaroo Point-Brisbane.
**PLEASE NOTE: We are strictly looking for someone with prior front desk/reception experience.**
This role will involve general administrative duties as well as liaison with patient and medical staff.
- Managing high volumes of telephone calls and patient enquiries, scheduling appointments within the practice and with other specialists, billings and messages.
- Maintaining patient files, handling mail, faxes and scanning.
- Ensuring the clinic is presentable at all times.
- Assisting with general administrative duties.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following essential criteria:
- Experience with Medical Director and Pracsoft (highly preferred).
- Professional and personable telephone manner.
- Proficient computer skills and understanding of medical terminology.
- Ability to multi-task, be proactive and have effective time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High standard of presentation and attention to detail.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week
**Salary**: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kangaroo Point, QLD 4169: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Medical admin: 1 year (required)
