The VMware Cloud Provider Business is responsible for providing overall direction and business strategy for the Cloud Provider ecosystem. It is seen as a growth engine for the company and instrumental in delivering consumption, ARR and SAAS solutions.

**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**

In this role, you are responsible for relationship and growth with Cloud Providers through strong business management skills. In this dynamic based role, you will develop and implement selling strategies for VMware products and services through VMware Cloud Providers, thereby showcasing their capabilities and growing their revenue. You will build sustainable business practices and foster strategic relationships across VMware through the development and execution of strategic Cloud Provider business plans.
- Within 30 days of employment you will effectively conceptualised how you can drive business value across the portfolio. You will have established relationship and cadence with key cloud Providers and VMware stakeholders.
- Within 90 days of employment you will have a sales strategy and execution plan for your assigned territory at 125% of your target. You will regularly meeting with Providers to discove how our solutions can help them achieve their desired business outcomes.
- Within 120 days of employment you will have closed at least 3 new opportunities with a Provider and have built 5X pipeline.
- Within 180 days of employment you will be progressing your existing opportunities with Providers, VMware sales teams.
- Within 360 days of employment along with the above you will have successfully sold multiple deals and attained the quota goal that was established for your territory.

**The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**
- Responsible for business development planning, alignment and execution across sales, technical and marketing disciplines that will achieve/ exceed goals.
- You will establish, develop and maintain effective and strategic relationships with key VMware Cloud Providers to drive consumption and accelerate growth through each provider, meeting sales and business plan targets.
- You will drive adoption of VMware solutions, services and technologies that will drive revenue and alignment with VMwares vision and strategy.
- Leveraging VMware extended teams for sales, marketing, technical and legal to accelerate the business.
- Deliver joint VMware/provider pipeline from demand generation to close, utilizing provider and field sales teams. Plan, forecast, and execute on pipeline goals to ensure provider revenue attainment.
- Driving development of partner services offerings and solutions to support VMware revenue growth and increase provider profitability, focusing on advanced technologies.
- Increase providers’ VMware sales and technical capabilities through certifications.
- You will be measured on VMware bookings and / or revenue generated by the service providers
- Managing sales and marketing plans ( Joint Business Plans) with all assigned providers, including business development, enablement, practice development, and pipeline generation. Setting shared goals and objectives
- Driving provider and customer satisfaction**:Ensuring provider satisfaction through coordinating appropriate resources and programs on behalf of a provider, including co-selling engagements. Ensuring customer satisfaction by developing strong VMware solution implementation services capabilities in providers.

**Where is this role located?**

Flexible: The location of this role is flexible within a distance from either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. Work will be done from one of VMware or Cloud Providers offices some days during a week and other days from anywhere.
