Currently looking for an experienced construction manager to join an exciting project in the Pilbara

**Your new company**

We've currently partnered with a well-known civil construction contractor who are looking for an experienced construction manager.

**Your new role**

As the construction manager, you play a pivotal role in the major projects team. You will be managing the project's life cycle. Your duties will include,
- Assist the Project Manager and Site Supervisors to coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
- Oversee all on-site and off-site construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Manage labour, tooling, equipment, and materials for the duration of the works
- Manage cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost to complete and report to senior management on performance
- Update and review construction programs to assess performance and implement mitigation measures as required to meet schedule
- Interpreting engineering documents and drawings for site personnel
- Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders
- Organising and coordinating construction activities in accordance with construction schedules to complete the works on time and under budget
- Attend weekly client progress meetings and maintain a positive relationship with the client

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Extensive years experience working in a similar role within the resource sector
- Extensive experience in civil, NPI construction, road construction, bulk and detailed earthworks.
- A strong demonstrated history of managing large site-based teams
- Strong and clear communication skills with a proven capability to engage and motivate others.
- Understanding of risk and opportunity with strategic and structured thinking
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Tertiary qualification or trade background relating to civil engineering or construction management.
