**Position**
We are seeking a **Casual Mental Health Support Worker** to join our team. This role involves providing practical support to clients with mental health challenges, helping them build skills and confidence to manage daily activities and reach their recovery goals. If you are empathetic, dedicated, and motivated by helping others thrive, we would love to hear from you

**Responsibilities**
- Work directly with NDIS participants to support them in developing life skills, building routines, and achieving personal goals.
- Provide practical assistance and emotional support, fostering a positive and respectful environment.
- Assist in planning and implementing recovery-focused activities tailored to each client’s needs.
- Document client progress and communicate effectively with the team to support individualised care plans.
- Follow organisational policies and procedures to maintain a safe, ethical, and supportive environment.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a mental health support role, or similar position within the community or disability sector.
- Relevant qualifications in Mental Health, Community Services, or a related field (or working toward these qualifications).
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- An understanding of recovery-oriented and client-centered approaches.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse clients and varying support needs.
- Current First Aid Certificate, valid driver’s license, full comprehensive insurance, NDIS Worker Screening Card(Yellow Card) and a Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.96 - $44.39 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
