**Our Client**

Our client is Sydney Metropolitan’s leading supplier of building, hardware, plumbing and landscape supplies. They have an extensive product range of professional building supplies from trusted brands and proudly provide high quality materials for all project sizes and types. This includes hardware, plumbing and trade building supplies, raw materials such as sand, soil and cement, steel reinforcement and bricklaying and rendering supplies.

A family-owned business that prides itself in providing expert advice of hardware or building materials/supplies and providing high quality services and products to its trade customers. If successful you will join a great organisation that continue to be one of the premier building material and hardware suppliers in Sydney.

Right now they are looking for a friendly, professional, personable and experienced counter sales person to assist in supporting their trade customers to deliver trade building supplies to site and to assist customers with their extensive range of general and builder hardware supplies for every trade and DIY project imaginable.

**The Job**

Reporting to the manager, you will work as part of the Trade Sales Counter being autonomous in the completion of your tasks.
- Assisting In achieving sales and margin goals
- Attracting new clients and growing the business
- Build relationships with current and potential clients
- Dealing with customer queries and offering solutions
- Managing stock, replenishment, merchandising and displays
- Plenty of overtime available

**About You**

To secure this fantastic opportunity you will have:

- Great sales, customer service or trade experience
- Be familiar with basic computer operations
- Counter phone sales experience
- A genuine interest in hardware and building supplies
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Be highly organised, great at multi-tasking and have strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Be able to thrive in a team environment but also work independently
- Good ability to work under pressure

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $600,000.00 per year
