Configuration Manager

**How will I help?**

As part of the enterprise configuration management team, this role exists to ensure the effective operation of the Configuration Management practice within Westpac.

As part of Service Operations, the Configuration Management team exists to ensure the Service Management team is equipped with the configuration management information to manage services at Westpac in an effective and efficient manner.

Your key responsibilities include:

- CMDB/Data Health review/analysis.
- Perform CMDB/Data health uplift activities.
- Collaborate with platform team to deliver config related platform enhancements.
- Community of Practice Engagement (Status Updates/Consultations/Q&A/Workshops)
- Create/Update/Retire Process, Standards, Controls, Configuration Management Plan.
- Configure SNow CMDB Module and CI Maintenance.
- Configuration management request approvals/rejections.
- Perform Control Assessments/Remediation activities.
- Stake holder engagement and influence (GM1, Application Support, Risk, Infrastructure, ITSM/ITOM Practices)
- Propose/participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Represent configuration management in design forums.
- Manage configuration management knowledgebase.
- Stay informed of industry and trends and platform capabilities/changes.

**What do I need?**
- Significant working experiences gained in complex IT environments with strong knowledge and experience with IT Service Management.
- Deep hands-on experience with Configuration management.
- Highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Existing awareness of Data Management and the use of Data analytics.
- Sound skills and experience with ServiceNow.
- Experience and knowledge of Process Engineering.
