**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced Configuration Lead to deliver across various high-profile and critical Australian Defence programs. The Configuration Lead assists the program/projects with the creation and control of engineering data. Reporting to Project Managers, you will focus on the development of the plans and processes required for IMSA to deliver products and services into the Defence industry. The Configuration Lead is a key member of multiple project teams, supporting program/project deliverables and providing support at engineering reviews.

Your tasks may include but not be limited to; Develop and deliver CM CDRL documentation across multiple project/programs. Support, where applicable, the development of the CM process and toolset with support from the CM lead and Specialty Engineering Discipline Lead.

**About you**

To be successful in this role, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;
- Proven experience in a CM role
- Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering, CM or related field
- 3-5 years minimum experience in CM in a Defence or strong regulatory environment i.e. Aerospace or Rail Industries.
- Strong knowledge and experience of the use and development of Electronic Configuration Management Systems. Use of the Siemens TeamCenter PLM tool preferred.
- Experience in the configuration control of defence based product, sub-systems and systems
- Knowledge of with Australian Naval CM related publications - i.e. ANP3411-010
