The role of the Meetings and Event Manager, is to be the single point of contact in the Viatris Australia commercial business for meeting and events (M&E), supporting the company with meetings and events in line with the policy and business priorities. This role involves strong capabilities in event management, stakeholder management, budgeting, business understanding, leadership, cross functional collaboration, communication and project management.

Key Responsibilities include;
- Planning and managing internal and external events for Viatris Australia
- Lead the development and execution of organising large internal events lead (with internal taskforce)
- Organising large external event lead (with event company support as required)
- Presenting proposals and updates/feedback to the leadership team
- Working with Cross functional teams to make the event successful - marketing, communications, training ,digital, leadership team, sales
- Lead management of a single Event vendor - procurement, SLA, compliance training and ongoing management
- Maintain field force lead educational event compliance via HIPPO system and support the commercial business coordinate the internal approval process of educational events in partnership with sales, legal and compliance
- Maintain a compliant and complete record-keeping system
- Maintaining the event playbook and training sales on educational events
- Utilise Cvent for complex meetings for RFP and meeting management, and the Cvent lead to allocate meetings and training- Experience working within a commercial team in a product based business, and experience working on cross functional projects
