The Club Med Pacific Team are looking for a motivated and passionate Meetings & Events Account manager to join their dynamic Sydney office
Purpose of the position:
To contribute to the overall business of Meetings & Events in ensuring a seamless process from start to finish in all areas of the business including administration, proposals, successful execution of all events and exceptional customer service.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible to be accountable and knowledgeable for all areas of the business.
- Responsible to achieve and contribute to M&E sales targets.
- Responding to briefs, proposals, managing all bookings, reports, accounting, and logistics
- Responsible for actively promoting Meeting & Events to all channels of the industry.
- Managing expectations, time frames and delivering exceptional customer service
Knowledge: General knowledge of meetings & events, travel & tourism market (networks, specificities), Club Med knowledge of the services and products a plus, Salesforce, NA (Club Med booking system) understanding of sales conditions and trends.

- Excellent written, interpersonal & communication skills
- Planning ability, project management, time management
- Enthusiastic, diligent and professional all-rounder
- Polite, friendly and diplomatic manner
- Great negotiation & analytical skills
- Ability to take decisions effectively and provide commercial direction
- Proven record on account managers and excelling in customer satisfaction
- Ability to generate ideas, prioritise and manager several different tasks at once.
Technical skills: Good level in: Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel, Salesforce
