**Description**:
Hedweld Engineering is a proud family owned and world renowned regional Australian innovator and manufacturer. Hedweld has been producing world leading products for the mining sector globally for over 40 years, known for our Trilift range of component handling equipment and our Safe-Away range of access systems.

This is a full time day shift position located at our Mount Thorley site in NSW. You will join a skilled team working on products and assembly in our well-maintained workshop. This role will give you plenty of variety. You will primarily be providing assistance with assembly, repair, maintenance and packing Hedweld quality products, for dispatch to our valued customers.

**Key Duties**:

- Assist in the production of product and after sales technical support services for our customers. This includes but is not limited to:

- Assist in completing WOs’ and Projects that include assembling, testing and packing product to fulfill customer orders.
- Maintain quality documentation of WO’s and Projects.
- Other general duties required for the day-to-day running of the facility operations.
- Packaging of finished goods for dispatch
- Follow safe working procedures and practices.
- Follow product quality assurance procedures.
- Load/unload trucks
- Work with the Team members to review achievements and discuss required changes to meet goals or objectives.
- Assist in facility maintenance, and or repairs.

**About you**:
The successful applicants will have the following:

- Strong interest in willing to learn
- Strong mechanical aptitude and like putting stuff together
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
- The ability to work as part of a Team, as well as, independently.
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions to achieve production targets
- Excellent communication skills
- A current driver’s license
- Current forklift license or the ability to obtain one
