**Maintenance Technician (Training Area and Range Operator) | Singleton, NSW | Australian Citizens Only**

**About the Role**
BGIS is seeking a **Maintenance Technician (Training Area and Range Operator)**to join our team based in **Singleton, NSW**. This hands-on role involves maintaining training facilities, supporting range operations, and assisting with bushfire response activities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct general maintenance of training facilities.
- Install and operate target systems at designated training ranges.
- Perform operator-level maintenance and non-technical inspections of range facilities and equipment.
- Report fire locations to the Range Control Officer or equivalent personnel.
- Provide first-response bushfire-fighting capabilities to contain or extinguish spot fires caused by range activities.

**About You**
- A **current Driver's License**(MR license preferred).
- Prior experience or knowledge in Defence range operations or as an ex-serving member (highly regarded).
- Experience with the **NSW Rural Fire Service**(advantageous).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
