**Web Analytics Specialist (6-month initial Contract)**

Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for technology and analytics?

Our major airline client is seeking a Web Analytics Specialist to join our team on a 6-month contract (hybrid working arrangement possible).

**The Role**
As the Web Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining analytics and tag management systems for our clients main web and digital platforms. You will have a strong Web Analytics and Tag Management background, preferably with experience in Adobe Analytics.

This role will require coordination across business and technical teams to ensure that best practices in tag management and web analytics are rolled out across our digital assets. It will also have a strong focus on empowering others through providing simple self-serve analytics functionality, maintaining easy to follow processes, and developing a knowledge base of best practices and how-to guides. The Web Analytics Specialist will also be the key liaison between partner analytics agencies and the wider business.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Implement and maintain analytics and tag management systems
- Coordinate across business and technical teams to ensure best practices in tag management and web analytics are rolled out
- Empower others through providing simple self-serve analytics functionality, maintaining easy to follow processes, and developing a knowledge base of best practices and how-to guides
- Key liaison between partner analytics agencies and the wider business

**Key qualifications**:

- 2 years+ experience in a similar web analytics role
- Experience in running a tag management system (Adobe Launch experience preferable but not essential)
- Experience in the use and administration of a web analytics platform (preferably Adobe Analytics)
- Understanding of analytics data layers and the ability to perform tag debugging work
- Basic understanding of JavaScript preferable
- Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak to both business and technical stakeholders in ways that are easy for them to understand
- Understanding of the potential security and privacy risks associated with tag management and the ability to spot potential risks
