About the role

We’re excited to offer a newly created full time opportunity for a passionate and driven team member to step into the role of Retail Channel Specialist within our Consumer Growth team.

As a Retail Channel Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in expanding AGL’s residential and SME customer base through our strategic retail partnerships (including The Good Guys). You’ll be responsible for coordinating and managing sales campaigns, ensuring compliance, and driving value-centric growth initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about customer acquisition, channel optimisation, and stakeholder engagement, thrives in a collaborative, agile environment and is ready to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities- Drive Customer Growth: Lead sales initiatives to meet performance and quality targets.- Campaign Management: Deliver and monitor sales campaigns through retail partnerships, ensuring alignment with best practices and compliance standards.- Channel Optimisation: Enhance customer value, NPS, digital adoption, and multi-product outcomes.- Compliance Oversight: Maintain a robust compliance framework across all sales activities.- Digital Enablement: Collaborate with digital teams to implement solutions that empower retail partners.- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure campaign success.- Performance Reporting: Generate regular reports on sales performance, campaign effectiveness, and partner metrics.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in sales, partnership management, or growth-related roles.- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.- Proficiency in data tools such as Excel and BI reporting.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.- Customer-first mindset with a focus on service excellence.- Innovative thinker with a continuous improvement approach.- Understanding of compliance and quality assurance standards in sales operations.
