**Your new role**

Join our team as a Capture Manager and take on a crucial role in driving our strategic growth initiatives. You will lead the pursuit of large opportunities and contribute to the long-term success of our organisation. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape an Indo-Pacific strategy and deliver innovative solutions in Defence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Gain a deep understanding of customer requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases.
- Strategise on win themes aligned with the critical needs of the customers.
- Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and team members to gather market insights and shape acquisition strategy.
- Lead capture activities, including opportunity gate reviews, black hat sessions, and proposal reviews.
- Conduct competitive assessments, teaming efforts, and analyses.
- Drive the development and submission of responses, and other proposal artefacts
- Mentor program managers and rotational program staff in the capture management process.
- Develop and execute capture plans within approved budgets

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field and related experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills in organising and executing significant capture activities, including building industry teams and shaping acquisitions to win business with new and existing customers.
- Proven track record of successful capture management in logistics, modernization, sustainment, and engineering across multiple domains
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadline.
- NV1 clearance or ability to obtain
- Develop and refine branch plans that inform and support strategic investments.
