Hays Technology are seeking to appoint Senior Information Management Officer on initial 4 months contract role with a view of extension. This will be a hybrid role working from home and Geelong location

**Your new role**

**Key accountabilities**:

- Capture, retrieval, archiving and disposal of records and information including transfer of records to Public Record Office Victoria
- Lead continual development, maintenance and provide guidance and support on EDRMS system, user account updates, and super user activities
- Provide and implement practical recommendations on improving the efficiency and usage of information management operational processes
- Support and encourage customers in the use of new or enhanced corporate systems including recognizing opportunities to use business process reengineering to facilitate the use of those systems.
- Monitor and audit information management processes to ensure correct procedures and policies are followed
- Develop and review information management procedures, training documentation and policies
- Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to develop skills of Information Management Officers
- Record and appropriately assign customer requests to staff within the Information Management team in line with request logging standards
- Other duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be considered for this role, you will have:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Management or other relevant qualification or equivalent level of relevant experience.
- Well-developed knowledge of information management processes, trends, legislative requirements, and systems including EDRMS systems, with the ability to undertake basic system administration tasks
- Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service
- Experience in information management process review, improvement implementation, advice provision and embedding changes
- Well-developed project management skills, including knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques
- Proven experience in delivering information management training programs, including the development of training manuals and procedural documentation.
- High level of written and oral communication skills with excellent attention to detail in written work.
- Strong attention to details.
