**About the role**
The FOI Reviewer (casual) supports the Freedom of Information Officer by reviewing patient and other hospital records in compliance with the _Freedom of Information Act 1988 _(Vic). The FOI reviewer ensures that hospital records are reviewed and prepared for a release decision in compliance with statutory deadlines. You'll report to the FOI Officer and form a part of the broader Legal Services team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review patient records in line with the FOI Act and identifying any information which may be exempt from release.
- Prepare records with redactions and checking all documentation has been reviewed.
- Escalating any files of concern, as appropriate.
- Undertake training in FOI legislation, internal processes and guidelines, as appropriate.
**Skills, Qualifications and experience**
- Previous experience working in the health care system and with patient records;
- Possess or be working towards a clinical qualification in health services, for example nursing, paramedicine, medicine, mental health, midwifery or allied health services.
