This role will be working with the Pryda Build Software Support & Training Department of the Offsite ANZ business and is centred around providing day-to-day support & training to enable our customers to maximize their productivity, efficiency and profitability via cost effective, compliant, buildable, dwelling designs.
The Pryda Build Software Consultant is responsible for:
- Proactive, on-site delivery of specific software training and support to coincide with customer training needs and software releases;
- Continual, measurable improvement in the customer experience as it relates to software support & training; and
- Acting as the voice of the customer to further develop and improve the software offering.
A fully maintained company car will be provided with this role.

- Understand what the most effective and efficient use of the Pryda software is (noting the specifics of the customer) and upskill estimators and designers to utilise the software in this way;
- Identify opportunities to improve knowledge and bridge skills gaps to improve productivity and efficiency of existing customers: and
- Confer with our customers to determine software and training requirements.
**Continual, measurable improvement in the customer experience as it relates to software support & training**:
- Develop regular call cycles that align with the ITW 80/20 philosophy and add value to the customers experience relating to on-site technical support;
- Become a partner to customers' businesses to enable the achievement of both the customer and Pryda's objectives; and
- Develop and refine training tools, training programs and advice provided across all aspects of the software.
**Acting as the voice of the customer to further develop and improve the software offering**:
- Fully understand the customers pain points and articulate the insights to the wider team;
- Work with the relevant functions of the business to ensure that we are developing features & products/fixing bugs that 80's customers value; and
- Participate where/when required in pre-release software testing.
**To be successful in this position you will have**:
- Strong practical experience within the construction industry, preferably frame and truss;
- Demonstrated experience in 3D designing/detailing of timber, steel and/or concrete structures;
- An understanding and focus on internal/external customer needs, particularly around training and support;
- Strong and influential communication style in both written and presentation skillsets;
- Ability to build strong relationships, at various levels, both internally and externally;
- Self-motivated, energetic & can work both autonomously & as part of the team;
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment, demonstrating a strong consultative approach and manner;
- Ability to travel and spend time away from home; and
- Software database experience, highly desirable.
