Dispatcher - Special Services

**What you’ll be working on**

The Fleet Allocator role is working in a fast-paced team environment within the Sameday Local Courier operation. You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of service to our customers urgent Sameday courier services by efficiently managing and allocating jobs to the fleet of drivers.
- Work within a Sameday Radio Room, being our first point of contact for our professional couriers
- Allocate Local courier jobs to Sameday couriers in an efficient, effective manner to meet service delivery times
- Plan & prioritise jobs in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with collation of data for recording and achieving KPI’s (Service Quality)
- Communicate effectively with other allocators & quality control staff to ensure efficient job allocation

Working Hours: AM shift 6.00am-2.00pm Monday to Friday

**What you’ll bring to the team**
- High level of geographic knowledge of Melbourne
- Excellent persuasive skills/negation skills in dealing with driver queries.
- Ability to understand drivers’ strengths and abilities in undertaking urgent time critical deliveries
- General understanding of COR and Dangerous Goods polices
- Strong relationship management with drivers and customers
- Reliability with a can-do attitude and the willingness to go above and beyond for the customer
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
