**About the role**:
As the Risk Transformation Manager at Australian Retirement Trust, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering key risk transformation initiatives across the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager - Risk Transformation, you’ll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to uplift risk maturity, embed best practice frameworks, and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Key aspects of the role include:

- Lead the coordination and delivery of risk transformation initiatives aligned to strategic objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Prepare reports and make recommendations to support risk transformation activities.
- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and stakeholder engagements to drive change.
- Provide practical advice and guidance on risk management issues.
- Direct continuous improvement activities to increase capability and efficiency.
- Lead change management activities and foster a culture of innovation.
- Gather and integrate feedback from stakeholders to inform risk transformation efforts.
- Ensure updated practices and processes meet best practice and regulatory requirements.

**This role is a 12 month fixed term contract based in either Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne.**

**About you**:

- Deep experience in risk management, with a strong background in risk transformation within regulated financial services (ideally superannuation).
- Proven ability to support and lead change management or transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of audit standards, risk management frameworks, and regulatory requirements
- High integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate and respond to emerging risks.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at senior levels.
- Analytical mindset with strong decision-making skills and the ability to assess complex risk scenarios.
- Commercially savvy, understanding the balance between risk and opportunity to support sustainable outcomes.
- Curious, adaptable and open-minded, bringing fresh ideas and perspectives to the team and open to the perspectives of others.
