**Joining the Coco Republic Procurement Team**
For our clients to receive the best ever service, it is absolutely crucial that we have the right people in place to ensure that all our processes run smoothly from start to finish.
In your role as Procurement Specialist, you will help ensure the right goods are received at the right time, in a cost effective way. You will have responsibility for product orders from the point of raising the purchase order to goods being handed over at the freight forwarder.
**What to expect on a day-to-day basis**
- Ensure that all goods are ordered, produced, and delivered to the Freight forwarder in the required time period
- Work with AU and US based planning teams to place orders that meet Coco Republic, and supplier requirements
- Track production progress and QC reports to ensure orders are finished on time, in full goods, meeting supplier KPI’s
- Communicate changes in delivery to the wider Coco Republic team as required
- Oversee supplier compliance to ensure all goods received meet requirements
- Take ownership and grow supplier relationships to further strengthen partnerships
- Drive supplier efficiencies/accuracy in production and container loading
- Manage Netsuite data for orders raised including quantities, prices, cargo ready dates and goods arrival date
**Skills and experience which will set you up for success in this role**
- Deep understanding of the supply chain function (including but not limited to order management, production process, and supplier relationships)
- Proven experience in identifying and implementing ways to automate and simplify process
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Including the ability to present complex issues simply (both upward and downward) to drive engagement and activity
- Be process driven, organised, and able to prioritise work in a fluid work environment
- Capable of seeing the big picture combined with an attention to detail
- Excellent people management skills
- Sound Microsoft Excel experience required
- Knowledge of NetSuite is beneficial
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
