**About Us**
Founded in 1992, ConnectAbility Australia proudly delivers a wide range of personalised services and supports for people with disabilities across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland, surrounding Lower Hunter local government areas, and the Central Coast.
In 2023, ConnectAbility expanded its services through the acquisition of Early Links Inclusion Support—an Early Intervention and Disability Inclusion Support Service. This added Allied Health services for individuals of all ages in both the Lower and Upper Hunter regions.
**The Role**
We are looking for an energetic, proactive, and driven Scheduling Specialist to join our Scheduling team. You will primarily be based at Warabrook, however required to travel to ConnectAbility sites.
In this role, you will manage the daily scheduling of support workers with a strong focus on person-centred care. You will ensure reliable and consistent service delivery in alignment with individual service plans, while providing support to staff in a positive and collaborative manner. This role also requires respect for the personal choices, needs, interests, and cultural backgrounds of the individuals supported by ConnectAbility.
**Key Responsibilities**
Success in this role comes with being organised, collaborative, and professional in all interactions with customers. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Scheduling or rostering staff, ideally with prior experience or a demonstrated ability in this area.
- Managing high-volume rostering while ensuring timely and effective scheduling.
- Collaborating with a dynamic team to plan and organise services for an evolving customer base.
- Managing multiple priorities and balancing competing demands.
- Demonstrating excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Maintaining high levels of computer literacy and clear communication.
- Staying positive and respectful under pressure or tight deadlines.
- Experience within the Disability or Health sector is highly desirable, along with knowledge of Work Health and Safety (WHS), the SCHADS Award, and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
**What We Offer**
Along with a competitive salary, we provide long-term job security, opportunities for career development, and training. Our employee benefits include:
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Salary packaging (up to $15,900 per annum) to reduce tax on personal expenses.
- Annual flu vaccinations.
- Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for 24/7 wellbeing and safety support.
**Mandatory Requirements**
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
- Working with Children Check (for paid employment).
- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
- The right to work in Australia.
**How to Apply**
If you're excited by this opportunity, please submit your resume and cover letter as soon as possible. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. To be considered, submissions must be made via Seek or our website.
We are committed to diversity, inclusion, and equity, ensuring that all employees feel valued, respected, and empowered to bring their unique skills, experiences, and perspectives.
