Concept Data is a leading and independent South Australian IT and telecommunications service provider.

The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting the accounts held by the Sales Director and Account Manager(s) by assisting in account management and administration, handling sales enquiries from clients, quote generation and quote management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide sales support to the entire sales team to enable team target achievement
- Provide first call response to initial sales enquiries
- Work closely with the Sales Team and generate timely quotes using information from various internal systems
- Monitor sales communication channels and respond to clients in a timely manner
- Maintain and update the in-house client information database
- Ensures accurate recording of client communications and requests
- Check with suppliers/vendors for product availability and source from alternate suppliers, if required
- Escalates opportunities to the appropriate sales team member when required.
- Gather, consolidate and update client order instructions correctly and efficiently. Liaise with various teams to ensure the orders are processed as per client instructions and minimise process blocks
- Create and maintain work in progress tickets for all Pre and Post sales stages for all clients
- Communicate with the Service Desk Team Leader on product installations in a timely manner to ensure all client requirements are satisfied.
- Works with the Sales Team to resolve supplier/vendor pricing anomalies
- Any other tasks or projects assigned by the Sales Team

Key Requirements Include:

- Demonstrable experience in a sales support / admin role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Possess a “can do” attitude and proactive work ethic
- Customer-focussed with great attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritise tasks accordingly
- Outstanding organisational skills with a proven track record of being able to work on multiple, competing activities at once with a high level of resilience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft office skills
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new procedures and software systems
- Knowledge of CRM system would be advantageous
- Dedicated team player with a positive attitude.
- Good understanding of computer systems and other tech products
- Assist in Digital Campaign Marketing - desirable, but not essential
- Proficiency in English
- You must have Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency for Australia to be considered for this role.
- As part of our employment screening process you will be required to undergo a Full Police Clearance Check
