Based out of our head office in Smithfield, we are on the hunt for an experienced Purchasing and Logistics Officer who can keep our operations moving and growing This is no ordinary job - you will be the key in driving our local supply chain as we continue to move forward in this exciting growth phase of our business

Vital to our operations are our people as they are crucial to our success. That’s where you come in.

**Some key responsibilities will include**:
Managing and controlling the purchasing budget
Monitoring and sourcing of local product/packaging and other supplies, negotiating agreements with local suppliers.
Managing local supplier relationships
Ensuring the timely receipting of inbound orders
Monitoring stock levels and supply sources
Managing intercompany branch transfers and inventory levels
Identifying supply chain problems, managing supplier performance OTD, determining cause, and developing and implementing corrective actions.

The Person

If you’re someone with an excellent eye for detail combined with purchasing and logistics experience, then this role is ideal for you

**You will also bring to this role**:
Ability to adapt your approach to different suppliers and effectively address challenges as they arise
An ability to work autonomously and own the role
A results focused attitude with a high level of initiative
2-3 years Purchasing and Logistics experience (preferably in a related industry)
Transport and logistics exposure
Experience with forecasting and using ERP systems
Advanced level of attention to detail and accuracy
A willingness to learn and seek areas for continuous improvement
