**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with approval processes.
- Maintain an accurate record of PO’s, invoices, test certificates, bills of lading, and any other relevant information/documents pertaining to inbound deliveries
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery, escalating issues as necessary.
- Liaise with warehouse teams to manage the receipting of inbound deliveries.
- Address and resolve invoice vs. PO discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Generate, maintain, and distribute backorder reports to corresponding suppliers.
- Monitor products on backorder and follow up on outstanding items.
- Provide regular reports to Internal Partners on supplier delivery status and key procurement metrics.
- Identify trends or issues in backorder patterns and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure purchasing and shipping records are accurately maintained and easily accessible.
- Continuously evaluate Supplier delivery times processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Ad-hoc tasks as required

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in purchasing, logistics and/or supply chain
- Familiarity with shipping processes and related documentation
- Knowledge of purchase order systems and supplier management
- Strong proficiency in excel and exposure to ERP systems
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners, customer focused
- Proactive, team player, knows own strengths, and out of the box thinker
