**The Role**
As an APS4 Logistics Officer you will work within a team of logistics personnel in providing inventory management support functions to all JLU(S) branches and regional dependencies in alignment with defence logistics legislation, policies and procedures.

As logistics management officer you will be expected to plan and complete inventory management activities and tasks as they arise. This position will also be required to lead a small team, work autonomously, set work priorities, manage work performance and identify opportunities of innovation or improvement.

The roles requires liaison with both internal and external stakeholders, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills. The role will require an understanding of, and the ability to interpret relevant policy and procedures as well as contractual conditions of industry partners providing logistic support services.

**About our Team**
Joint Logistics Unit (South) - Warehouse & Distribution Branch is looking for 2 x logistics professionals with experience in inventory management, procurement, disposals and performance reporting as part of a small dynamic team.

You will work as part of an integrated team of APS, ADF and Industry partners to deliver organisational outcomes within warehousing, distribution, clothing, loan pool and materiel maintenance domains.

- Experience in working within a logistics environment and delivery of required logistics effects in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Well-developed skills with inventory management systems to optimise inventory management.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve results and identify opportunities for improvement within a logistics environment.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct planning to develop solutions for delivery of supply chain support.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with team members and key stakeholders to achieve desired results.
