**The Role**
The APS 3 Health Clerk will be a first line supervisor within the Health Clerk team, and report directly to an APS4 Health Clerk.
The APS 3 Health Clerk is a key member in the Primary Health Care Team model, and assists with allocation of tasks, monitoring workloads and setting priorities to meet required medical admin outcomes and providing triage support to the health centre.
**About our Team**
The Health Clerk team is the face of the Edinburgh Health Centre and the Administration hub. The team is a mix of APS and contracted Health Clerks and, at times, is augmented by ADF Reserve members and contracted Enrolled Nurses.
- You will be able to provide leadership to a small team and assist the APS4 Health Clerk with management of a high tempo customer-service area.
- You will be highly adaptable and able to manage change at short notice.
- You will exemplify customer service within your team.
- You will have the ability to liaise with external stakeholders including other health service providers and facilities including the members, Doctors, Nurses and Medics.
- You will have strong written and verbal communication skills; previous experience in an allied health or medical field; well-developed relationship building skills; demonstrated ability to work in a team environment; a strong work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality; and be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
