**Description**:
ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a dynamic role and will be well suited for an adaptable and forward-thinking person who can organise the logistics team and coordinate all transport movements throughout the business to meet production requirements and customer expectations. Problem-solving skills and clear cross-departmental communication skills are critical to the success of this role.

**Key duties include**:
Safety of the logisitcs' employees and contractors
Ensure all safety, HACCP, chain of responsibility obligations are followed and reported on
Prepare logistic run sheets for all areas and distibute the plan daily
Supervise, plan and coordinate all staff rosters
Liaise with stakeholders to meet expectations of service delivery
Identify opportunities to improve utilisation rates of trucks
Continuously improve operations with respect to quality, safety, and inventory
Manage standard operating procedures and maintain all trucks to minimise breakdowns
Ensure safe working practices are the centre of your working day
Help lead and mentor the team to be the best versions of themselves
Represent the business to the highest professional standards

Please note that a current driver’s licence, MR licence and forklift licence are essential for this position.

ABOUT YOU
- Do you have 5+ years of planning or logistics manager experience and know your way around a busy logistics operation and a financial budget?
- Do you have a strong safety mindset and epic problem-solving skills?
- Do you lead by example and love to drive a high-performance culture?
- Do you have an open communication style and the ability to quickly build rapport with a diverse range of people?
- Are you a stickler for detail, continuous improvement, and safe working practices?
