Mechanical Tradesperson

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Tradesperson to join our team at Newcastle Agri Terminal, Carrington NSW.

This full-time position requires a flexible and proactive individual capable of performing a variety of mechanical tasks. The role operates on a Monday to Friday, 40-hour week, with opportunities for weekend overtime.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
• Experience in Industrial installation and fault-finding
• Previous experience in heavy industry
• Experience with conveyor belt systems and associated equipment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Strong focus to safety, problem-solving and decision making

Desirable (but not essential) Qualifications:

• Previous experience in the grain industry or similar materials handling environment
• MSIC
• EWP over 11 metres
