**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an experienced **Diesel Mechanic** to join our Field Service team based in the Wollongong and Illawarra region. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor in our Revesby branch, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic, repair and maintenance services to our customer’s equipment in the Illawarra & South Sydney region.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance
- Providing exceptional customer service to our customers
- Ensure that work areas always kept tidy with all relevant documentation complete and submitted on time
- Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures

**To be successful in the role, you will possess**:

- ** Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).**:

- ** Previous experience as a heavy diesel mechanic**:

- OEM equipment experience highly regarded
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
- An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
