Mr Scott’s Maintenance Services is growing and requires a number of general handymen to join our growing team.

If you fit the criteria below, then we’d love to hear from you:

- Are you a friendly, hardworking, task-focused person, with good attention to detail?
- Do you have a clean, full AUS driver’s license, Queensland Working with Children check card, current police check and construction white card?
- Do you have the skills to complete general handyman jobs from painting or plastering a wall to hanging a door, building a kitchen and everything in between?
- Do you have hands-on commercial and domestic maintenance experience? You don’t have to be trade qualified.
- Do you have a proactive attitude towards safety and working efficiently?
- Do you have sound knowledge of onsite WH&S standards?
- Do you have experience using technology-based programs and iPads for job management and completion?

**The Role**

This will be a hands-on role, with some of the required functions including, but not limited to:

- attending new jobs to analyse the issue and identify what work needs to be completed;
- preparing accurate and prompt quotes for the job;
- communicating clearly with the customer about what needs to be done, why it’s important and how much it will cost to get the work done;
- obtaining sign-off from the customer for the completion of the job and collecting payments;
- ensuring all work is completed to a satisfactory standard; and
- updating the job system, as required.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Flexible hours

- Gold Coast QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (required)
- White Card (preferred)
- Queensland working with children blue card (preferred)
