**About the Opportunity**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Handyperson to join the maintenance team at RACV Royal Pines Resort. You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair and preventative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the resort.

As a Handyperson, your key responsibilities include:
- Carry out general maintenance of resort fittings and fixtures, carpentry, painting, minor electrical and plumbing and cleaning duties- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff- Conducting routine inspections of hotel facilities and identifying maintenance needs- Maintain the workshop, plant rooms and storerooms in a clean and tidy manner- Maintain tools and equipment in a safe manner and ensure it is in good working condition- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Full availability and flexibility is required to work shifts on a weekly rotating roster between 7am-10pm, including weekends and public holidays, depending on business needs.

**What you'll need to be successful**- Previous building maintenance experience as a maintenance handyperson within a hotel/resort, or similar environment- General handyperson skills in carpentry, painting, minor electrical and plumbing- Knowledge of facility, building and equipment maintenance- Valid driver’s licence-
- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Strong time management, attention to detail and problem-solving skills- Ability to work well in a team environment, with contractors or independently- Perform physical and manual handling duties- Excellent personal presentation
