**THE ROLE**
Ampion currently has a permanent opportunity for a
**Defect Manager **in Sydney.

You would be a key voice across testing and delivery to support faster resolution of defects, including ensuring process are adhered to, good information is put into bugs/defects (be an advocate for good data hygiene practices) and things are tracked to completion.

You would provide transparent/ timely information on the defects in both detail and for reporting across different dimensions/aggregation for the program and work closely with the Internal Test Team, Delivery teams, PMO and other leaders.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**
- Good experience with **JIRA** - workflow and process management, queries, dashboards, extracting data (for generating reports)
- Excellent communication skills for reporting requirements’ discovery
- Support the teams across a parallel test execution plan between internal, vendor and External Customer testing. Smart proactive issue resolving of complex problems
- Negotiation skills and able to present for different audience levels from testers to C suite
- Good data/ reporting skills eg heat maps and defect hot spots
- Able to turn data into information and drive actions to resolve issues
- Process and tool uplift as required - Provide advice on improving the process and able to uplift Jira as needed
