Seeking an experienced Principal Project Officer

**Your new role**

You will be required to deliver high quality governance, analysis, reporting and portfolio, program and project governance services.

Duties will include:

- Provide timely advice and communication to key stakeholders regarding departmental initiatives and enterprise-wide transformational change including the preparation of a range of strategic documents as required including briefing papers, reports, submissions and responses to consultation requests.
- Monitor portfolio risks and issue management and advise on remediation strategies and plans.
- Facilitate the embedding of standard project management methodologies, standards, tools practices and processes supporting project initialisation processes and required governance approvals.
- Develop frameworks to analyse information and data to assist in identifying, prioritising, monitoring and evaluating projects and programs as well as identifying, planning and tracking portfolio activities and dependencies.
- Provide coaching and specialist support to program and project managers, project team members and project board members.
- Facilitate the benefits' identification process for projects and initiatives and assist with benefits realisation management.
- Provide specialist input into project assurance reviews, health checks and lead reviews where required.
- Maintain a range of collaborative networks to monitor and support all aspects of the delivery of initiatives arising from portfolio, program and project initiatives.
