What you will do
**In the Principal Education Officer role, you will**:

- lead teams of casual writers and assessors to support the development of curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment products and services
- lead teams of casual writers and assessors to quality assure school-devised assessments and school judgements and to develop and mark external assessments
- work collaboratively with Principal Project Officers and Activity Managers to ensure alignment of products and services with whole of organisation directions, policies, and procedures
- revise and redevelop curriculum products and resources including senior syllabuses and guidelines
- provide expert advice to Learning Area Managers and Assistant Directors on issues related to the implementation of senior curriculum and assessment
- manage and deliver business priorities within designated timelines and using allocated resources
- liaise with government and non-government educational agencies on assigned projects
- create and maintain professional relationships between the QCAA and key stakeholders
- lead forums, workshops and stakeholder engagement activities
- prepare briefings, correspondence and reports
- undertake other specific tasks as required to assist the QCAA in achieving its business outcomes.
