About the Division and Team
Group Finance provides financial management, financial information and financial solutions. The Business Performance and Transformation Finance team are responsible for providing internal and external stakeholders with financial and strategic analysis, advice, insights and solutions to ensure the business is making will informed decisions.
About the role
The new position as Head of Planning, Partnering and Analysis provides strong leadership and guidance to a high performing team. The role is critical in the delivery of quality information and reporting, which provides the business and the Board with key insights and analysis to support decisions making.
The ability to influence, collaborate and lead will be a critical competency for the success of this role. Strong networking, influencing and relationship building skills will also be paramount, as this role will work across the organisation to source and bring together existing data and information relevant to the Bank’s strategy.
The role will oversee the team’s various functions and their associated deliverables, including Transformation Finance, Performance Measurement, Board and Management Reporting and Finance Partnering.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and dotted reporting line to the Chief Transformation Officer.
We are open to various locations across Australia.
Experience, capabilities and qualifications
A passion for continuous improvement, ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing demands is an essential component of the role
Demonstrated ability in interpreting group financial results and communicating to leaders, employees, shareholders, board and committees
Experience in a senior role within financial services within Accounting/Finance teams
Strong influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders
Strong analytical and interpretation skills, including the ability to gather requirements, identify and analyse options, and draw logical conclusions
Ability to analyse financial and business data and reports, to inform decision making at a group level and at a business level
Tertiary qualified with a Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, related discipline or demonstrated high performance and experience in a similar role
