Where the team fits in

The Employee Communications team sits within Corporate Affairs in the Finance and Business Services Group. The Finance and Business Services team, or FaBS as we like to call them, is the engine room of REA Group and is headed up by the Chief Financial Officer.

The Employee Communications team is responsible for strategic communications, employee communication channels, and partners with Groups to deliver on their business-wide global communications initiatives and announcements.

What the role is all about- Helping to paint the big picture Provide communications support to assist our employees understand what we’re here to do and why, by looking for opportunities to link back internal messages to our company strategy-
- Writing and editing content for key communication channels including our newsletter, our intranet, assisting running our monthly virtual townhalls and getting creative in Canva to develop digital dashboard screens to display around the offices-
- Coordination support for the delivery of high impact internal campaigns for big initiatives including our Kick-off events, employee engagement surveys, etc.-
- Seeking out REA stories and the people that demonstrate our strategy in action. Choose internal channels to share the stories so they are visible to all the right people, in all the right placesWho we’re looking for

You'll be pivotal in managing daily communications activities, including drafting and scheduling communications while measuring campaign success. With your keen eye for detail, you'll drive various activities such as meeting scheduling and content distribution across tech platforms, requiring a knack for handling multiple tasks. You're creative and have a passion for writing, bringing new ideas and engaging content to a diverse, global audience. Being tech-savvy, curious, adaptable and having a solution-focused mindset is crucial - we move fast, are open to feedback and work collaboratively to figure things out.
