**About the role**

The Quality and Risk Manager oversees the hospital's clinical quality and risk management program to ensure full compliance with ACQSHC National Standards and ACHS Accreditation. This is a permanent full-time role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Expertise in risk management processes and systems and their impact on patient care and organizational outcomes
- Implement integrated Risk Management strategy: o Identify, analyze, monitor, and report risks o Manage risks through quality action plans and the organizational risk register o Ensure policies and processes support strategy implementation
- Promote risk management by patients, visitors, and contractors
- Contribute to building a culture that supports open risk identification and management

**What you bring**
- Must be a Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional registered with the Australian Healthcare Practitioner Agency Authority
- Extensive knowledge of quality management and accreditation processes in healthcare
- Familiarity with ACQSHC National standards and relevant area of practice standards
- Knowledge of risk management, including incident reporting, mortality and morbidity review, complaints management, adverse event investigation, root cause analysis, risk register, ACQSHC National Standards, and ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management
- Covid-19 vaccination evidence
- Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills, and expertise in information analysis and research design

- Results and service-oriented with a focus on continuous quality improvement - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and confident with intuition and motivation.
