The **Information and Records Management Section** of the Portfolio Management Branch has responsibility for delivering quality records and information management services, compliance services and key agency-wide business planning processes.

The **Records Policy and Business Area Engagement Team** maintain DVA’s Records Management Policy, providing tailored advice, training and resources for staff. By strengthening DVA’s information governance culture, we aim to optimise business processes, enable staff to make data-driven decisions, and enhance public trust in DVA’s information.

**Duties**
- Contribute to the delivery of recordkeeping education, advice, support and training.
- Develop and deliver targeted education to DVA staff, relating to the Department’s Recordkeeping Policy.
- Assist business areas to upload records from the shared drive/Outlook into Content Manager.
- Assist in the development of policies, procedures and systems for the compliant storage and disposal of DVA records.
- Undertake complex discovery requests from both internal and external sources.
- Manage reporting and analysis, including tracking progress against key deliverables.
- Communicate openly, effectively and respectfully with all staff, clients and suppliers in the interest of good business practice, collaboration and enhancement of DVA’s reputation.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed team to carry out tasks in support of DVA’s recordkeeping objectives.
