Our organisation is currently seeking multiple Traffic Services Support Officer and Traffic Modelling Support Officer to join our State Government team based in Perth CBD. As the Traffic Services Support Officer, you will provide traffic support and advice to Main Roads, Local Government and other stakeholders, including members of the public, on traffic management and road safety matters. You will be responsible for investigating traffic issues and concerns, developing solutions, and undertaking project management of minor improvement projects, such as simple signals, signs, and line marking. You will also assist in monitoring the efficiency and safety of the road network, undertake data analysis, and report writing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide traffic support and advice to the department, local government and other stakeholders including members of the public on traffic management and road safety matters.
- Investigate traffic issues and concerns and develop solutions for further consideration and assessment by a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in monitoring the efficiency and safety of the road network and investigate, review, and propose improvement measures.
- Undertake the project management of minor improvement projects, i.e. simple signals, signs, and line marking).
- Undertake data analysis and report writing.

Required Skills, Knowledge, or Experience:

- Experience or knowledge of Traffic Engineering principles and practices, including the use of any traffic modelling software.
- Investigation, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Possession of WA 'C' Class motor vehicle driver's license.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear and concise advice to a range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Desirable:

- Qualifications in Traffic Engineering or related field.
- Experience in project management of traffic infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Western Australian road network and traffic management practices.

Working Conditions: This is a full-time contract role, with a standard 38-hour week.
