**Permanent Care and Adoptive Families (PCA Families)** is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented **Accounts Payable Officer** to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for numbers and a commitment to supporting families, this role is perfect for you

**Position**: Accounts Payable Officer
**Location**: Carnegie, Victoria
**Employment Type**: Fixed Term Contract to 30 June 2025 (with the possibility of an extension).

**About Us**

Permanent Care and Adoptive Families (PCAF) is a leading non-profit organisation dedicated to supporting families formed through permanent care and adoption. We provide a range of services to ensure that every child and family thrives. The Accounts Payable Officer will support PCA Families Flexible Funding Program.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Verify and reconcile invoices and statements.
- Maintain accurate financial IT systems, records, and documentation.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payment issues.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (Dynamics 365)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to the mission and values of PCA Families
- Lived experience of the Out of Home care would be viewed favourably.
