**What you’ll be doing**

Reporting to the Purchasing Team Leader, **the purpose of your role is to ensure that our electrical and gas teams have their required stock available to them **by working alongside our Assets & Logistics team, the Purchasing & Stock Coordinator will be liaising with trade suppliers to organise and maintain stock to ensure that Detector Inspector’s operations run smoothly.
- Logistical support for gas fitters and electricians (e.g., ad hoc ordering materials/appliances)
- Work with Assets managers and service managers to understand the forecasted stock and scheduling needs
- Monitor stock levels and re-order as needed with suppliers
- Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
- Co-ordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage

**What we’re looking for**

We are looking for somebody with great interpersonal skills that will bring some vibrant energy to our tight-knit team. This role is suited to somebody with excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to adapt to change as our business continues to grow. While experience in stock coordination is desirable, it is not essential - a background in administration or accounts payable will be highly regarded.

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
