Our client, a family owned and operated operation, is now seeking to appoint an impressive Accounts Officer to spearhead this function, reporting directly to the Managing Director. Responsibilities will include but are no means limited to:

- Overall management (performing the tasks) of AP, AR, Super, BAS, Payroll & associated activities;
- Assisting with banking, receipting, allocation of payments, bank reconciliation, EOM activities, account set up & short term cash flow forecasting;
- Investigating variances / discrepancies + rectifying + providing commentary;
**SUCCESS PROFILE**
The successful applicant will identify with the aforementioned criteria and be able to validate with references (at the appropriate point) to an exceptionally developed analytical, autonomous and detail orientated skillset. You communicate with various stakeholders, both cross functionally and externally, with ease to build confidence, influence and cross collaboration, whilst demonstrating aptitude performing effectively in complex, high-volume environments previously.

You are naturally driven, autonomously seek to assess, research and recommend solutions and in turn, work with the business to achieve key business objectives. You are familiar with time sheeting, have payrolled a medium size enterprise previously (wages + salaried FTEs) and are not only willing to perform this ongoing business critical role, but comfortable with this weekly activity.

Previous exposure to MYOB (preferred not essential), teamed with intermediate to advanced capability utilising Microsoft Excel, and experience optimising the accounts and/or finance functions within these platforms previously is highly desirable.
